PV Cells - Rural Spark

Pandam had a great challenge in helping Rural Spark with finding new solar panel manufacturers to reduce cost and supply chain risks. With heavily fluctuating market prices of resources across the board, such a silicium in early 2020, it was timing sensitive to seal the deal. Having various production standards we needed to oblige too in order to meet the Lightning Global certification requirements, as well as minimize cost for our highly cost sensitive end user. In the end we narrowed down the produce of 30+ manufacturers to a selection of 6 that were interesting to order samples and subdue them to rigid testing in Rotterdam. After plenty of testing and tough negotiations, the new manufacturer now supplies tens of thousands of panels to the African continent several times per year.
